Fortier & Associates employs a small, very experienced staff. Each of our Associates possesses over 25 years experience in management and consulting, principally in industrial markets. All have technical undergrad degrees and MBAs from top business schools. In addition, Alan Fortier participates in every project. Randall Hansen has been an Associate of the firm since 1998. Prior to joining Fortier & Associates he was a consultant with Bain & Company. In industry he served as CFO, CEO and General Manager for several manufacturing firms in the chemicals, plastics and engineering industries, and has particular experience with turnarounds and LBOs. In total he has over 25 years experience as a consultant, senior executive and manager. He holds B.S. degrees in chemical engineering and environmental engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Jeremy Gelbwaks has been an Associate of the firm since 2004. Prior to joining Fortier & Associates, he was a principal at Capon Customer Strategies LLC and before that a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. He has also held marketing, business development and management positions at industrial and technology companies. He has led seminars in pricing, key account management, and strategy for executives and at Columbia Business School. He is especially skilled at evaluating management information for decision making, including extensive, complex data analysis. He holds a B.A. degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Frank X. Cook
Frank Cook has been an Associate of the firm since 2001. He has been a consultant and advisor to senior executives for over 30 years, most of it as Principal of his own firm. He is a world class diagnostician in organization design, and in engineering and operations management. In addition to his consulting experience, he has taken on turnaround and technical management assignments. He has co-authored several Harvard Business Review articles, and has been extensively sought for assistance in business and operational turnarounds. Frank has BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan college and a Masters in Management from the Stevens Institute.
Dr. Leslie Austin has over 20 years experience as an executive coach, trainer and organization consultant. She works extensively in succession planning, manager development and resolution of organizational issues, creating lasting change. Leslie has a Ph.D. from New York University in Performance Studies, and is a frequent content expert for Headline News Network and others.
