Fortier & Associates employs a small, very experienced staff. Each of our Associates possesses over 25 years experience in management and consulting, principally in industrial markets. All have technical undergrad degrees and MBAs from top business schools. In addition, Alan Fortier participates in every project. We know your project outcome will be only as good as the consulting team. We aim to bring you among the most experienced and competent staff available.
Randall Hansen
Randall Hansen has been an Associate of the firm since 1998. Prior to joining Fortier & Associates he was a consultant with Bain & Company. In industry he served as CFO, CEO and General Manager for several manufacturing firms in the chemicals, plastics and engineering industries, and has particular experience with turnarounds and LBOs. In total he has over 30 years experience as a consultant, senior executive and manager. He holds B.S. degrees in chemical engineering and environmental engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Jeremy Gelbwaks
Jeremy Gelbwaks has been an Associate of the firm since 2004. Prior to joining Fortier & Associates, he was a principal at Capon Customer Strategies LLC and before that a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. He has also held marketing, business development and management positions at industrial and technology companies. He has led seminars in pricing, key account management, and strategy for executives and at Columbia Business School. He is especially skilled at evaluating management information for decision making, including extensive, complex data analysis. He holds a B.A. degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Mike Chervenic
Mike Chervenic has worked with Fortier & Associates for over 25 years, participating in or leading over 30 industrial company strategy and pricing projects. He has over 35 years’ industrial experience in General Management, Sales Management and Product Management roles. He also runs his own consulting firm in the industrial and government sectors. Mike has a chemical engineering undergrad degree and an MBA from Univ. of Rochester.
Hany Saleeb
Hany Saleeb has been an Associate of the firm since 2005. Prior to joining Fortier & Associates he was a consultant with PRTM. In industry he served as CFO, General Manager and Plant Manager for several manufacturing firms in the technology, engineering and packaged goods industries, and has particular experience with product strategy and acquisitions. In total he has over 25 years of experience as a consultant, senior executive and manager. He holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Michael Bouhadana
Michael Bouhadana runs his own consultancy focused on significant performance improvement across manufacturing, technology and services industries. He partners with Fortier & Associates on specific projects, bringing over 25 years of experience advising private equity and corporate leadership teams. He has deep expertise in all aspects of M&A evaluation and integration, operational carve-outs and executing disruptive strategies. He was formerly a Senior Principal with The Keystone Group and before that Sr. VP of Corporate Development at Vericast. Michael has a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Florida, a Masters in engineering management from Northwestern University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Chad Wind
Chad Wind has been an Associate of the Firm since 2013. Prior to joining Fortier & Associates, Chad was a Partner with Trinity Associates, a strategy and profit improvement consulting firm focused on manufacturing and the process industries. He’s also worked in IBM’s Consulting Group and as a manager with DuPont. Throughout his 25+ year career he’s helped many clients grow faster and more profitably. Chad has a B.A. degree in Economics & Business from Lafayette College and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
Lori Arndt
Lori Arndt has worked with Fortier & Associates on and off for over 10 years, assisting in strategy, financial analysis and market evaluations. She has over 25 years’ experience in investment banking with Goldman Sachs, Nomura and Deutche Bank, and as a consultant to industrial + high tech companies focusing on valuation, investor relations and competitive strategy. Lori has a business degree from Wharton and a Columbia MBA.
Leslie Austin
Dr. Leslie Austin has over 30 years experience as an executive coach, trainer and organization consultant. She works extensively in succession planning, manager development and resolution of organizational issues, creating lasting change. Leslie has a Ph.D. from New York University in Performance Studies, and is a frequent content expert for Headline News Network and others.
